Overview

Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is a language service provider that connects bilingual and multilingual individuals with opportunities to serve as a freelance interpreter or translator. Our mission is to bridge the communication gap for those in need through excellent and compassionate language services. Hanna is seeking bilingual and multilingual individuals to operate as freelance interpreters in a 1099 Independent Contractor role.

As an interpreter, you contribute to language access for everyone, regardless of English proficiency. As an independent contractor, you set your availability and accept appointments based on your schedule. Appointments are available Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. Appointments are not guaranteed and are offered based on need. Interpreters start at $25 - $30 per hour, depending on availability, experience, and language demand.

• Operate as a freelance interpreter in a 1099 Independent Contractor role.
• Set your availability and accept appointments based on your schedule.
• Provide interpretation services in accordance with client needs and assignment requirements.

• Fluency in English and the target language with a comprehensive understanding of idiomatic speech and cultural patterns.
• Previous interpreting experience, preferably in medical, legal, or educational settings.
• Demonstrated professionalism, punctuality, and adaptability in the workplace.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate basic communication devices or platforms.
• Flexibility to work in different settings and adapt to various work environments.
• Must be located in and authorized to work in the US (We do not offer visa sponsorship).
• High School Diploma or equivalent; or certification in interpreting or related fields.
