Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Technical Project Manager to lead and scale Salesforce-driven service operations initiatives across global teams. This role will serve as the operational bridge between business shareholders, Salesforce administrators, external development and vendor partners, and IT system owners.

The ideal candidate combines structured project leadership with hands‑on coordination across Salesforce, system integration (APIs), and service operations workflows. This individual will drive execution across development cycles, incident management, backlog prioritization, and cross‑system automation efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

  • Lead daily Salesforce development standups and end‑of‑day review sessions.
  • Coordinate development lifecycle across Dev, UAT, and Production environments.
  • Maintain and continuously prioritize the Salesforce Master Backlog.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive execution, resolve challenges, and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Facilitate communication between global teams, ensuring seamless project execution across regions.
  • Utilize project management tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Team, Slack, etc. to track progress and report updates.
  • Ensure QA validation and user acceptance criteria are met prior to release.
  • Partner with external development vendors (e.g., offshore teams) to drive delivery and remove blockers.
  • Lead coordination of API integration efforts between Salesforce and enterprise systems.
  • Partner with IT and system owners to define integration architecture and automation strategy.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional requirements gathering sessions.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Drive structural backlog grooming and prioritization across projects, incidents, and enhancements.
  • Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiencies.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in managing project management, preferably in Salesforce or enterprise SaaS platform initiatives.
  • Experience leading Dev → UAT → Production release cycles.
  • Strong experience with MS Office suite, and Smartsheet.
  • Strong understanding of API integrations and cross‑system architecture.
  • Experience working with offshore development partners.
  • Familiarity with Service Cloud or enterprise ticketing systems is strongly preferred.
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin, Developer, etc.) or ability to obtain in 30‑60 days from hire.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Salary Range

$136,000 - $167,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
