We’re hiring a Staff Software Engineer – Dev Ops/Test Automation to own the full lifecycle delivery of our Super Cloud Automation Center (SCAC) platform. This is your chance to drive quality, automation, and infrastructure deployment at scale—powering the software backbone that supports our rapidly expanding AI and cloud initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
- Architect, design, and own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to ensure high code quality, security, and reliable release cycles across environments
- Design and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest) supporting regression, integration, performance, smoke, and system-level validation
- Build and manage robust, production-like test environments to enable accurate validation of infrastructure and application deployments
- Drive automation across the full software development lifecycle, reducing manual processes and accelerating high-confidence releases
- Implement and oversee monitoring, logging, observability, and incident response tooling to improve system reliability and operational excellence
- Develop internal tooling and dashboards (leveraging Python and web technologies) to publish build artifacts, test results, and quality metrics for engineering visibility
- Mentor engineers and establish Dev Ops and QA best practices to create a culture of automation, accountability, and continuous improvement
- BS in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, or related field
- 12+ years of Experience in Software Testing and Deployment
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git Lab CI, Jenkins) for software projects
- Know how to integrate build, unit tests, and static analysis into a pipeline
- Experience setting up or maintaining development/test environments (virtual, containerized, or hardware-based)
- Ability to streamline developer workflows and reduce setup/debug time
- Experience publishing build/test results to dashboards or databases
- Strong knowledge of writing scripts with Python
- Experience with automation frameworks (Robot Framework, pytest, etc.)
- Excellent communication, documentation skills
$185,000 - $215,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
