As the Director of Applied Strategy & Market Intelligence, you will shape Adobe’s most consequential business decisions for our Digital Media organization. This role sits at the intersection of economics, strategy, and storytelling — where your insights will guide investments, acquisitions, and growth bets that define Adobe’s future. You’ll architect financial and business models, develop dynamic market frameworks, and craft strategic narratives that empower senior leaders to act with confidence.

• Economic Frameworks:
  Illuminate path‑forward scenarios for major investments, acquisitions, and market developments
• Business Modeling:
  Stress‑test assumptions and reveal value creation mechanics across Adobe’s portfolio
• Market Intelligence:
  Position Adobe ahead of competitive and industry shifts through actionable insights
• Cross‑Functional Alignment:
  Drive strategic cohesion across product, finance, engineering, go‑to‑market, and corporate development
• Planning Rigor:
  Evolve modeling methodologies and strategic frameworks to accelerate the pace of Adobe’s ambition

• Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a quantitative field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
• 10 years in strategy, consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or strategic finance
• Proven track record developing market theses, building financial models that informed major decisions, and driving cross‑functional initiatives to completion
• Executive presence—experience advising C‑suite leaders in complex, matrixed environments
• Tech‑sector fluency—prior experience in software, SaaS, or technology strongly preferred

The U.S. pay range for this position is $186,000 — $356,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.

In California, the pay range for this position is $246,400 – $356,800. In Washington, the pay range for this position is $221,800 – $321,100.

California:
