Role

We are looking for a Principal Product Designer (Design System) to join our Product Management team in a hybrid capacity (3 days per week at our San Jose HQ), reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Design.

You will drive the evolution of our design ecosystem, ensuring consistency, scalability, and excellence across all products. By refining core components and patterns to address diverse use cases, you will elevate the design system and empower teams to deliver cohesive, user-centered experiences with maximum efficiency.

  • Create and refine scalable components and patterns to ensure adaptability and consistency while improving overall product efficiency
  • Maintain and enforce documentation and best practices to drive design excellence and streamline workflows across the organization
  • Partner across cross-functional teams to align the design system with technical and business goals, fostering a unified experience
  • Guide teams through system adoption by providing resources and troubleshooting to ensure seamless usage and high-quality output
  • Actively gather feedback to close gaps, enhance usability, and evolve the system to drive innovation across all product lines

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
  • 8+ years of professional product design experience, including 2+ years specialized in creating, scaling, and maintaining enterprise-grade design systems with a portfolio demonstrating successful adoption
  • Proficiency in Figma for component development and expert use of tools like Storybook, Zeroheight, or Supernova for system documentation and testing
  • A proven track record of collaborating with engineering and design teams to advocate for design principles and provide mentorship to fellow designers
  • Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and front-end development fundamentals and ability to present a UX Design portfolio
