Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Board, the Vice President of Global Solutions Engineering will head a substantial global team of solution engineers / Pre Sales specialist, of up to 100 professionals. This leadership role is instrumental in driving product adoption among leading enterprises across the globe. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in SAAS and transformation software as well as applications.

Location:

This is a hybrid position, with regular onsite workdays required at the company’s San Jose, CA office. They are looking for someone in a commutable distance or someone who is looking to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a distributed global team of solution engineers, responsible for delivering pre-sales services to across multiple regions.
  • Devise and implement strategies.
  • Onboarding new clients, securing large deals, expanding existing accounts, generating revenue, and boosting product adoption on a global scale.
  • Manage and motivate the team, setting clear objective.
  • Ensure pre-sales offerings are aligned with regional needs.
  • Working closely with the product team.
  • Engaging with key channel partners, system integrators, customers, and prospects worldwide.
  • Subject matter expert for company’s products and methodologies.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong background within Sales Engineering and leadership of large teams.
  • Strong education with a degree, a Master’s degree preferred within Engineering or Technology
  • Proven global leadership experience in building and scaling software product pre-sales teams, with a track record of developing successful practices and organisations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of technology and business processes, coupled with experience in client-facing leadership roles.
  • Happy to travel extensively at short notice, with up to 50% travel across global regions when required.
