Position: Technical Architect (6010) New San Jose, CA

itD is seeking a Technical Architect to lead the architecture and implementation of enterprise‑level solutions that enable seamless product data management and integration across digital platforms. This role is critical to ensuring scalable, accurate, and efficient data synchronization, driving digital transformation for our clients. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in enterprise architecture, PIM systems, and API‑driven integrations
, with a proven track record of delivering robust integration frameworks and architectural governance.

Location: Remote (U.S.) – Bay Area preferred
Pay Rate: $60–$75 per hour, depending on experience.
Position Type: Contract
Duration: 3 months + possibility of extension

Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of a new Product Information Management (PIM) solution using Pimly, integrated with Drupal‑based product pages.
  • Define data models, integration patterns, and synchronization strategies between Pimly and Drupal to ensure scalability and data accuracy.
  • Provide architectural leadership for integrating global header/footer components with Fluid Topics and community platforms, ensuring consistency across sub‑sites.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (development, QA, security, business stakeholders) to translate requirements into actionable architectural designs.
  • Maintain and evolve architectural deliverables, including high‑level and low‑level designs, integration diagrams, and runbooks.
  • Support delivery governance and roadmap refinement for enterprise integration initiatives.
  • Some travel may be required, up to one week per month.
Internal Responsibilities
  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
  • Work with leadership on career fast‑track opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Expertise in enterprise architecture and integration strategies.
  • Hands‑on experience with PIM systems (e.g., Pimly or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of Drupal integration and API‑driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with architectural frameworks and governance best practices.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience with Fluid Topics and global header/footer integrations.
  • Background in large‑scale digital transformation projects.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
