Payment Specialist

We are looking for a highly experienced Payment Domain Specialist to play a critical role in a large-scale payments migration initiative. This role goes beyond data structures—you will ensure that payment business semantics, integrity, and compliance are preserved end-to-end.

As a Payment Domain Specialist, you will act as the bridge between business logic, engineering, and compliance. You will define authoritative payment semantics, validate edge cases, and certify domain readiness for the new platform.

• Define payment-specific CRUD contracts and query expectations
• Validate idempotency and reconciliation in variants

• Identify and validate high-risk scenarios:

• Ensure auditability and regulatory requirements:
• Immutable records
• End-to-end traceability

• Participate in contract testing and workload replay
• 8–12+ years in the payments domain (Issuer, Acquirer, Processor, Fin Tech)
• Deep expertise in:
• Idempotency and retry semantics
• Strong collaboration experience with engineers and architects
• High data literacy (tables, joins, event-driven systems)
• Domain readiness certification
