Work on extensive structured, unstructured, transactional and real-time data sets from a variety of sources to analyze customer usage patterns and provide actionable, intuitive, impactful insights using metrics, algorithms, and statistics.
Your Impact- Acquire, clean, and structure data from various sources and maintain databases/data systems.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret seas of trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Develop, prototype, and test predictive algorithms.
- Filter and “clean” data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
- Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
- Completion within the past 3 years, or current enrollment with expected completion within 12 months, of a certification or degree program (Associates, Apprenticeship, Boot Camp, or Certification) plus 3 years of relevant experience;
High School Diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience;
Bachelors plus 2 years of relevant experience; or Masters with no years of experience required. Relevant fields include Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent. - Proficiency in data manipulation tools (SQL, Hadoop, etc.), programming languages (R, Python, XML, JavaScript, or ETL), and solid understanding of reporting packages (e.g., Business Objects) and statistical packages for data analysis (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
- Technical knowledge in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques, with proficiency in writing queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
- Experience with Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with advanced machine learning techniques, neural networks, and deep learning frameworks such as Tensor Flow or PyTorch.
- Expertise in analyzing time‑series data and forecasting.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies.
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills to effectively communicate findingsउ to technical and non‑technical audiences.
