Job Description

• Technical lead for Broadcom Ethernet Product lines. These products include AI/ML, Data Center, Service Providers and Enterprise switches, and Ethernet Physical layer devices (GE/10
  
  GigE/40G/100G/400G/Optical). The individual will work with Tier 1 Networking OEMs and CSPNs on leading‑edge industry standard Broadcom switch silicon (Tomahawk, Trident) families.
• Responsible for all technical aspects of the project throughout the design cycle ranging from pre‑sales to production start.
• Understands the hardware aspects and architecture of the products thoroughly.
• Performs schematic and layout review.
• Troubleshoots hardware problems at any stage of the design.
• Assists with feature implementation, understanding packet flow through the device and implementing features using diag shell and low‑level register programming.
• Replicates customer issues in the lab using test equipment.
• Answers customer questions in a timely manner.
• Conducts customer demos and sets up evaluation boards in customer labs.
• Presents roadmaps and technology‑related presentations to the customer.
• Provides feedback to marketing to improve next‑gen Broadcom products and align them with customer needs.
• Provides feedback to factory application teams to improve documentation and champion customer needs.
• Works with sales account managers to increase demand for Broadcom networking products.
• Tracks customer program progress with account managers.
• Acts as technical liaison between the Networking Infrastructure Product Design Team, Factory Application Teams, and customers.

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

12+ years of related experience required.

The On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this position is $168,800 – $270,000. OTE includes sales incentive commission in accordance with relevant plan documents. This position is also eligible for equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
