About Tessera Labs

Tessera Labs is redefining how enterprises modernize their most complex systems. Backed by Foundation Capital and built by leaders in AI and enterprise transformation, Tessera delivers governed, multi‑agent AI built specifically for ERP modernization. Tessera compresses ERP modernization from years to weeks. Our platform accelerates data harmonization, remediates and optimizes legacy code, orchestrates workflows across ERP, CRM, Finance, and adjacent enterprise stacks, and safeguards mission‑critical operations with audit‑ready governance.

Our mission is to modernize global enterprises safely, automatically, and at unprecedented speed. We move fast, own outcomes end‑to‑end, and operate at the frontier of applied AI for enterprise‑scale transformation.

Role Summary

The Technical Program Manager owns the end‑to‑end execution of complex, multi‑workstream enterprise modernization programs delivered on Tessera’s multi‑agent AI platform. This role is senior to a Technical Project Manager and is accountable not only for delivery execution, but for program design, technical strategy alignment, risk orchestration, and cross‑customer scalability. The Technical Program Manager operates as the technical execution leader across multiple delivery pods, customer work streams, and internal engineering functions.

You are expected to reason deeply about enterprise architectures, data landscapes, AI‑driven automation, and system constraints—while translating that complexity into clear execution plans and executive‑level outcomes. You will partner closely with customer executives, enterprise architects, and transformation leaders, while also serving as a trusted peer to Tessera’s AI, data, and platform engineering teams. You will shape delivery models, influence product feedback loops, and ensure Tessera’s modernization programs scale predictably across customers and industries.

The ideal candidate has led large‑scale enterprise transformation or ML‑driven programs, thrives in ambiguity, and is comfortable owning delivery outcomes at both the technical and executive level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Ownership & Strategic Delivery Leadership
  • Own the end‑to‑end technical delivery of complex, multi‑phase AI modernization programs across ERP, CRM, data platforms, and connected enterprise systems.
  • Lead and coordinate multiple delivery pods (Forward‑Deployed Engineers, Data Engineers, System Engineers, Solution Architects).
  • Define program structure, milestones, dependencies, success metrics, and execution guardrails across parallel work streams.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for program health, delivery predictability, and customer outcomes.
  • Technical Architecture & Cross‑System Alignment
  • Engage deeply in enterprise architecture discussions spanning data models, integrations, governance, and automation workflows.
  • Partner with customer enterprise architects and IT leadership to align Tessera’s AI‑driven approach with existing system landscapes.
  • Guide technical decision‑making, trade‑offs, sequencing, and dependency resolution across systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Workday, Snowflake, and adjacent platforms.
  • Ensure architectural consistency and technical feasibility across program phases.
  • Execution Excellence, Risk & Dependency Management
  • Drive disciplined Agile execution across multiple teams and work streams.
  • Proactively identify technical, operational, and organizational risks; design mitigation and contingency strategies.
  • Manage cross‑team dependencies, sequencing, and resource constraints at program scale.
  • Establish and track KPIs for velocity, quality, adoption, and operational readiness.
  • Enterprise Governance, Security & Readiness
  • Ensure all programs meet enterprise‑grade standards for security, compliance, auditability, and change governance.
  • Oversee readiness for production deployments across…
