We are looking for a Senior Manager, Technology to join the Technology & Operations team in the Northern California, supporting NBC Bay Area KNTV, T48 KSTS, T33 KCSO and T51 KNSO. As the Manager you will be primarily responsible for day-to-day oversight and management of the team implementing and supporting technology and users within our mission critical, media production and enterprise IT environment.

Job Responsibilities
:

• Lead the requirements gathering, planning, and implementation of technical and workflow solutions for News, Production, and Creative Services partners.
• Oversight & administration of media production applications, systems and infrastructure, including critical facility infrastructure, ensuring reliability of technology and operations.
• Responsible for staffing and supervisory duties of Production Operations Specialists, including hiring, scheduling and performance management in accordance with local station policies
• Oversee technical support, incident response operations and customer communication.
• Provide processes, resourcing and guidance to ensure team objectives & SLAs are met.
• Hire, coach and develop team members throughout their career journey.
• Develop & maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication.
• Ensure compliance with NBCUniversal cyber security policies and standards.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Knowledge of FCC rules and laws pertaining to news broadcasting on multi-media platforms, and employment and labor regulations
• Required onsite. This position is required to be performed full time onsite from an NBCUniversal designated work site.

Basic Qualifications
:

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years of leadership experience involving people management, project leadership, or indirect leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, radio, television & film, related fields, or equivalent experience.
