We are seeking an experienced SRE to assist with the setup and management of various tools and systems, including:

• JIRA
• Confluence
• Hip Chat
• Service Desk
• Bitbucket

The initial focus will be on setting up JIRA, followed by Confluence, Hip Chat, and Service Desk/Bitbucket, in a high availability data center configuration.

Responsibilities include:

• Establishing staging environments and implementing formal change sets for deploying updates from staging to production, with regular scheduled pushes (1-2 times a month).
• Diagnosing log file issues and handling failures or anomalies that arise during deployment.
• Evaluating database options (MySQL, Oracle, or Postgres), providing analysis and recommendations based on cost, support, functionality, and reliability.
• Managing migrations of all environments including development, staging, production, vendor, and external installations.

Additional desired skills include datacenter experience with JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Service Desk, Hip Chat, Oracle DB experience, MySQL DB experience, and migration/upgrade experience for JIRA, Confluence, Hip Chat, and Bitbucket.
