Technical PMO, Global E-commerce Engineering

Responsibilities

Global e-commerce is content e-commerce business with international short video product as the carrier. It is committed to becoming the first choice for users to discover and purchase good products with affordable prices. Global e-commerce business team hopes to provide users with more tailored, and efficient consumption experience, enabling merchants to receive reliable platform services in different scenarios such as live e-commerce, short video content e-commerce, so as to make more affordable and high-quality products sell easily and a better life within reach.

Tech PMO is one of the core teams of the global e-commerce tech teams. We are responsible for bridging the cross-functional teams and driving the strategic programs delivered efficiently and effectively. We are also responsible for tech team's tools, process and efficiency measurement. We aim to utilize project management as core competence, to improve organizational synergy and delivery efficiency, hence boost business growth.

• As a Tech PMO, you’ll manage a variety of complex, cross-functional projects. Work closely with people from Product, Engineering and various Global e-commerce teams, driving the end-to-end delivery of new products and features to market.
• General Project management activities including but not limited to: preparing the project schedule, defining milestones; tracking and reporting progress, identifying and mitigating risks, removing blockers; leading Agile/Scrum teams as a coach or Scrum Master; ensuring products/apps release to market smoothly.
• Create and maintain the Roadmap/feature lists for the teams you work closely with, along with the respective Tech and Product leaders.
• Own the collaboration process and tools, provide trainings and keep optimizing the tool usage experience.
• Define how these programs are driven and continually improve processes in a data-driven manner.
• Embrace the team’s culture and principles.

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or above with 5+ years of project delivery or process optimization experiences; technical background is a plus.
• An understanding of project frameworks with a data-driven mindset; understanding Agile is desirable.
• Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering multiple projects in parallel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience working across multiple time zones and cultures is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Passionate about the Internet industry and willing to grow with the company while addressing emerging global issues and challenges.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
