At Tik Tok, our US Data Security (USDS) team is a dedicated organization established to safeguard US user data and ensure national security interests are protected. Our USDS teams are building a new, secure-by-design infrastructure and service ecosystem. This is a mission-driven team with the critical responsibility of protecting our platform and users.

As a member of the USDS Talent Acquisition team, your role in Talent Acquisition profoundly impacts a mission-critical aspect of the organization's development. As a trusted Talent Acquisition Partner with a focus on leadership hiring, you will work closely with the business to understand how Tik Tok has grown into one of the most popular platforms in the world. You will develop, implement, and drive tailored talent acquisition strategies to support the evolving hiring needs of the organization.

Leveraging data and market intelligence, you will design innovative and high-quality hiring approaches, lead a selection process aligned with D&I best practices, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring journey. In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner with senior business leaders across USDS, as well as collaborate with HR and CoE teams.

To enhance collaboration and cross‑functional partnerships, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. • Design and execute bespoke and inclusive search strategies for senior leaders across multiple functions and geographies to identify and proactively engage the top talent in the industry by developing and maintaining a network of potential prospects for executive‑level positions.
• Conduct in‑depth research to identify and map potential prospects using various sourcing techniques and tools including but not limited to mapping, candidate referral, networking, and other channels.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to create talent pipelines for succession planning and key organizational needs.
• Base and in‑depth market research to identify talent trends and opportunities and prepare reports and presentations to communicate research findings and suggestions to leadership teams.
• Partner effectively with HR and hiring managers throughout the search process, consulting on best practices and talent market insights, while providing a differentiated experience to leaders and candidates alike.
• Position and effectively articulate Tik Tok’s employer brand and value proposition with industry leaders.

• 5+ years of global, executive‑level hiring experience, ideally within the high‑tech, media, or other related industries.
• Experience in building executive‑level candidates and relationships in a global business environment with strong skills in talent mapping.
• Proficient in using various sourcing techniques and tools, including Linked In and other tools to conduct solid mapping practice.
• Negotiate complex, multi‑component compensation packages for senior and executive‑level candidates, aligning stakeholder expectations, ensuring internal equity, and securing successful offer acceptance in competitive talent markets.

• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills; ability to build trust‑based working relationships with candidates, cross‑functional peers, and colleagues in the wider HR function.
• Demonstrated ability to build creative sourcing strategies using global market and talent sourcing intelligence to discover, identify, and attract top talent.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and creative problem‑solving ability.
• High level of personal accountability, integrity, and authenticity; ideally you will be detail‑oriented, passionate, and intellectually curious.
