Compensation: $700 per visit
We provide on-site portable dentistry, podiatry, audiology, and optometry at Senior Centers, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, and Veteran Homes across 20+ states—and we’re continuing to grow. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional, empathetic care while handling all logistics so providers can focus solely on patient care.
Position SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Audiologist to join our mobile care team in San Jose, CA
. This role is ideal for someone looking to supplement their current schedule while making a meaningful impact in senior and underserved communities.
All administrative and logistical responsibilities—including equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing—are fully managed by CMC. This is an independent contractor position, allowing you to focus on patient care without the burdens of running a private practice.
Responsibilities- Conduct hearing assessments and audiometric evaluations
- Fit, adjust, and maintain hearing aids and assistive listening devices
- Provide counseling and education on hearing loss management
- Collaborate with facility staff to support effective communication strategies for patients
- Doctor of Audiology (AuD) - Dispensing Audiologist
- Active California audiology license
- ASHA (CCC-A) or ABA certification (preferred, not required)
- Experience working with geriatric populations or in mobile/onsite settings
- Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
- 4 visits per month
- Mondays required
- Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
