Role Overview
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at AGES Learning Solutions, you'll be a vital part of our team, guiding the development and execution of personalized behavior intervention plans. You will assess client needs, manage behavior technicians, and oversee interventions aimed at skill acquisition and reducing problem behaviors. This role supports clients in the San Jose area.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive skills assessments to evaluate the need for ABA services.
- Perform functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify causes of challenging behaviors and design positive behavior intervention plans (PBIPs).
- Analyze data and monitor client progress to make informed adjustments to treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized teaching programs and PBIPs based on client needs and goals.
- Supervise and provide feedback to Behavior Technicians to ensure accurate delivery of intervention plans.
- Collaborate with families and professionals for cohesive interventions across settings.
- Provide ongoing supervision, support, and training to Behavior Technicians, maintaining ethical standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations and participate in team meetings and case conferences.
- Coordinate with insurance for assessment, treatment plan reviews, and service authorizations.
- Manage client and staff schedules and keep families informed of progress.
- Train and coach staff on ABA principles and intervention techniques.
- Stay current with ABA research through continuing education.
Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.
- BCBA certification from BACB.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and experience in behavior intervention planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
- Valid driver's license.
