Overview
The Clinical Program Director at Jazz Imaging is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the imaging services program. This role ensures high-quality patient care, efficient clinical workflows, regulatory compliance, and the strategic growth of clinical programs. The Clinical Program Director works closely with radiologists, technologists, administrative teams, and external partners to maintain clinical excellence and meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Leadership — Lead and manage all clinical aspects of imaging services across Jazz Imaging facilities. Set standards of clinical care, protocols, and safety procedures for all imaging modalities (e.g., MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound). Oversee patient care delivery, ensuring optimal service quality and patient experience.
- Program Development & Strategy — Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs that support clinical excellence and business growth. Collaborate with executive leadership to align clinical strategy with organizational goals. Identify opportunities for service innovation, technology adoption, and process improvement.
- Operational Oversight — Supervise clinical staff including technologists, nurses (where applicable), and clinical support teams. Ensure effective staffing models that meet patient volume and service demands. Monitor clinical performance metrics, quality indicators, and key performance goals.
- Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance — Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations including HIPAA, OSHA, and industry standards. Lead quality assurance initiatives, audits, and corrective action plans. Maintain up-to-date policies and procedures in alignment with best practices.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement — Partner with radiologists, referring physicians, and administrative leaders to enhance communication and clinical workflows. Serve as a clinical resource for staff, addressing clinical inquiries, challenges, and escalations. Represent Jazz Imaging in community, healthcare partner, and accreditation engagements.
- Training & Professional Development — Oversee clinical training programs and continuing education for staff. Promote a culture of learning, clinical excellence, and professional growth.
Education & Certification — Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field (Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related). Advanced degree (MS, MHA, or MBA) preferred. Appropriate state licensure or certification for clinical leadership (ARRT, ARDMS, R.T., or equivalent).
Experience — Minimum of 7 years of experience in medical imaging operations or clinical management. Proven leadership experience in imaging services, hospital radiology, or outpatient imaging settings.
Skills — Strong clinical knowledge across imaging modalities. Demonstrated ability to lead interdisciplinary teams. Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills. Ability to analyze performance data and drive quality improvements.
