About the Role
This Project Manager role is ideal for candidates with prior hands-on clinical experience (e.g., nurse, clinician, pharmacist, or related direct patient care / clinical operations role) who are interested in applying that background to program delivery and project leadership.
In this role, you will leverage your clinical knowledge to inform planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, while leading the day-to-day execution of initiatives that impact patient care, provider workflows, and clinical operations. You will work closely with clinical leaders, product managers, designers, and engineering teams to ensure work is grounded in real-world clinical context and delivered in a way that supports safe, effective, and efficient care delivery.
This role offers high visibility across program and client leadership and provides exposure to large-scale healthcare delivery, digital transformation, and cross-functional execution in a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead project delivery across clinical initiatives: manage end-to-end execution of projects supporting clinical operations, digital health products, or patient-facing solutions.
• Bridge clinical and delivery teams: translate clinical workflows, constraints, and priorities into clear project plans, milestones, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans: manage scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, and resourcing across cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration: partner with clinical stakeholders, product managers, designers, engineers, and operations teams to drive alignment and execution.
• Apply clinical context to decision-making: proactively identify clinical risks, workflow impacts, and patient safety considerations during planning and delivery.
• Run project governance and cadence: lead status meetings, stakeholder check-ins, and escalation forums; provide clear reporting to program and client leadership.
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies: maintain RAID logs, escalate concerns appropriately, and drive mitigation plans to closure.
• Support change management and adoption: collaborate with stakeholders to support training, communications, and rollout planning for clinical-facing solutions.
• Ensure regulatory and operational alignment: consider compliance, privacy, and clinical standards as part of delivery planning and execution.
• Track progress and outcomes: monitor delivery against milestones and support measurement of operational and clinical impact where applicable.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience).
• Prior clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting as a:
o Nurse
o Clinician
o Pharmacist
o Or closely related direct patient care / clinical operations role.
• 3+ years of project management or program delivery experience.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, care delivery environments, and healthcare operations.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams including clinical, technical, and operational stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple work streams, priorities, and dependencies.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both clinical and non-clinical audiences.
• Experience with project management tools and documentation (e.g., project plans, RAID logs, status reporting).
• Comfort operating in fast-paced, complex healthcare environments.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting digital health, EHR-related, or clinical workflow transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with agile or hybrid delivery models.
• Experience working with product, design, or engineering teams.
• Prior consulting or large-program experience.
• Exposure to healthcare regulations, privacy, and compliance considerations.
• PMP, Agile, or related project management certification.
• Interest in long-term career growth in healthcare delivery
