, one of the largest and most effective nonprofits working to end homelessness in the Bay Area, is seeking a Part‑Time Clinical Supervisor for our programs in Santa Clara County.
The Clinical Supervisor (licensed as an LCSW or LMFT) will provide clinical leadership, support, and oversight to a multidisciplinary team. The team will engage, house, and provide wrap‑around clinical services to chronically homeless, vulnerable individuals who have serious mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and/or chronic health conditions. This position will be responsible for assessing the mental health needs of referred individuals living in the County, in the office and at housing sites, as well as supervising ASWs and MFTs who are working toward licensure.

How You Make an Impact- Provide clinical oversight and direction to ensure consistency and continuity of care; supervise ASWs and MFT interns individually and in groups.
- Assist in developing biopsychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and psychiatric interventions.
- Review clinical notes, assessments, and treatment plans.
- Coach staff on clinical writing to meet Medi‑Cal regulations.
- Attend monthly CQRT meetings and other ACBHCS meetings for clinical supervisors and directors.
- Support clinicians and case managers across the agency.
- Maintain integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all client records.
- Provide mental health services to program participants.
- Participate in program development and implementation of changes responding to client and staff needs and funding priorities.
- Facilitate critical incident reviews and staff debriefings.
- Assist in developing clinical policy and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology.
- LCSW or LMFT licensure required (preferred LCSW).
- Two years of post‑licensure experience providing clinical supervision to staff.
- Five years supervisory experience in community mental health or co‑occurring programs.
- Two years field experience with serious mental illness, co‑occurring disorders, complex health issues, or the chronically homeless population.
- Valid California driver’s license, personal vehicle, and insurance; clean DMV record.
- Willingness to drive and transport participants as needed.
- Basic knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local laws.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in Assertive Community Treatment or similar; familiarity with Housing First, Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, Psychosocial Rehabilitation.
- Experience in crisis intervention and de‑escalation techniques.
- Understanding of biological, psychological, and social development; knowledge of human behavior, psychopathology, diversity, relationships, family dynamics, mental disorders, stress, and chemical dependency.
- Mastery of Medi‑Cal charting and skill in assessments and treatment plans.
- Experience with Utilization Reviews and overseeing Clinical Quality Reviews.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams.
- Commitment to cultural sensitivity through open dialogue and self‑reflection.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related platforms.
- Ability to learn and use required mobile devices and business applications.
