Licensed Psychologist – San Jose, CA
We are hiring a licensed psychologist for a direct‑hire opportunity with a non‑profit client located in San Jose, CA. The role offers flexible part‑time or full‑time hours in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team that supports individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
What You’ll Be Doing- Evaluate cognitive, adaptive, and behavioral functioning in clients and develop behavior support plans
- Provide psychological assessments, behavioral consultations, and clinical support to clients, families, and staff to promote independence and quality of life
- Consult with program staff and serve as a teacher/consultant to personnel involved in service delivery to people with developmental disabilities
- Assist in developing new programs and evaluate existing services for the developmentally disabled within the region
- Perform related duties as assigned, including evaluative services such as conservatorship petitions and competency to stand trial evaluations
- Licensed Psychologist in the state of California
- Doctorate in Clinical or Educational Psychology with at least two years of experience in developmental disabilities or behavioral health
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical documentation skills
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, techniques, and materials of psychology in serving the developmentally disabled
- Ability to work 8am to 5pm shifts Monday through Friday
- Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance or independent transportation
- Competitive salary: $11,268 to $14,744 per month plus monthly stipend for bilingual speaking
