Associate Psychotherapist-Eating Disorder

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Associate Psychotherapist with expertise in treating Eating Disorders to join our team at LGTC Group. Please note this is a part time or full time position. As a Psychotherapist, you will be responsible for providing individual and group Eating Disorder Residential Treatment Center (RTC) in San Jose, CA. Provide therapy to clients with Eating Disorders, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities.

You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client. Your ultimate goal will be to help clients achieve lasting recovery and improve their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients with Eating Disorders
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and treatment modalities in the field of Eating Disorders
Skills:

As an Associate Psychotherapist specializing in Eating Disorders, you will utilize your expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities to provide individual and group therapy to clients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in building rapport with clients and maintaining effective relationships with colleagues.

Additionally, your attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation will ensure the highest quality of care for our clients. Finally, your commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest research and treatment modalities in the field of Eating Disorders will be critical to your success in this role.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Current Associate Psychotherapist with an Associate Number in the state of California
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing individual and group therapy to clients with Eating Disorders
  • Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities for Eating Disorders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and/or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Experience working with clients with co-occurring disorders
