Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a critical need Labor & Delivery position in California requiring an active CA RN license, BLS, and NRP certifications.

Job Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting,

• Patient population includes laboring mothers with high-risk OB cases preferred,

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM,

• 36 scheduled hours per week during a 13-week assignment,

• Epic EMR is used and experience is preferred,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration,

• Current BLS and NRP certifications required,

• Minimum 1 year recent full-time Labor & Delivery experience within the last 3 years,

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program required,

• Experience with high-risk OB and at least 5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred,

• Submission must include last 4 digits of SSN and DOB,

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include providing care to laboring mothers and managing deliveries, including high-risk cases,

• Must be able to coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and provide patient support during labor and delivery,

• Contingent workers are subject to tenure policy limiting assignments to a maximum of two years, requiring a 90-day break thereafter,

• Both local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate,
