Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California, requiring a CA RN license and recent L&D experience.

Job Details

• Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery setting,

• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 12-hour shifts,

• 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week,

• Patient population encompasses a range of labor and delivery cases, including high-risk obstetrics,

• Utilizes the EPIC EMR system,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration,

• Minimum one year of recent (within the last three years) full-time equivalent L&D nursing experience,

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program,

• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP),

• Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field,

• Preferred:
Five or more years of recent labor and delivery experience,

• Preferred:
At least one year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years,

• High-risk OB experience preferred,

• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred,

• Last four digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive care for patients in labor and delivery, including high-risk cases,

• Follow hospital-specific policies and participate as part of the L&D nursing team,

• Must comply with vaccination requirements including COVID and flu if applicable,

• Local and travel candidates receive the same rate,

• Scrubs required as per hospital dress code,

• Subject to policies limiting assignment duration to two years with a mandatory 90-day break before returning,
