Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent home health experience and a current state license for a daytime home health assignment.

Job Details

• Home health setting serving geriatric patients and those requiring wound care,

• Minimum of 23-24 visits per week required to qualify for a full-time guarantee,

• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no weekends required,

• Coverage areas may include multiple counties and may expand to surrounding counties as needed,

• No on-call required, though discretionary on-call may arise,

• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate from first to last patient,

• Charting must be completed onsite using Kinnser/Wellsky EMR,

• Any color scrubs and closed toe shoes are required attire,

Job Requirements

• Valid state PT license required at time of consideration (no exceptions); license required if applicable,

• BLS certification required,

• Minimum 1 year of home health experience and 2 years of overall clinical experience,

• Strong punctuality, time management, and ability to work independently,

• Experience with Kinnser/Wellsky EMR preferred,

• COVID-19 vaccination required unless declination is approved for religious purposes,

• All required documentation must be submitted and approved before starting,

• Locals accepted within a 50-mile radius,

• Main responsibilities include providing patient-centered physical therapy care to home health and geriatric patients,

• Efficient and accurate completion of all charting in the clinic on the provided tablet is required,

• Contract length is 4-6 months; clinicians with less experience must agree to a 6-month term,
