Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health assignment, requiring at least 1 year of home health experience and a valid state license.

Job Details

• Home health patient visits primarily in designated counties with potential to cover surrounding areas,

• Focus on weekly patient care rather than daily visit quotas, with a minimum of 23-24 visits per week to qualify for full-time hours,

• Typical patient population includes home health and geriatric patients, as well as wound care cases,

• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend requirement,

• No on-call duties required, though optional on-call may be available,

• Uses Kinnser/Wellsky for charting; all documentation must be completed onsite in the clinic using a provided tablet,

Job Requirements

• Current BLS certification required,

• Active state Physical Therapy license required at the time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted,

• Minimum 1 year of recent home health experience and at least 2 years of overall clinical experience required,

• Ability to efficiently complete all documentation during clinic hours,

• Must be able to travel within assigned and occasionally surrounding counties,

• COVID vaccine required (declination accepted for religious reasons); flu vaccination may be declined with proper documentation,
