Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team. In this role, you will work with students to support their participation, independence, and success within the educational environment. You will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and overall functional performance in the classroom setting.

• Conduct evaluations to determine students’ occupational therapy needs related to educational performance and daily school activities.
• Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals and evidence-based therapy interventions in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
• Provide direct and consultative services to help students build skills in handwriting, self-regulation, attention, and classroom participation.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, or assistive technology to promote access and engagement.
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs across school environments.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and IEP reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive student support.

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
• School or pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
