Job Title:
Radiologic Technologist

Role: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team at SQ Med Staffing. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality patient care by operating radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images. Provide mobile X‑Ray and EKG (if applicable) service to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. • Perform radiographic examinations on patients as ordered by physicians.
• Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images.
• Adjust and maintain radiologic equipment to ensure clear and high-quality images.
• Ensure patient safety by following radiation safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Perform and process X‑Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. (if required)

The role of a Radiologic Technologist may require the ability to:

• Lift and position patients, possibly with assistance.
• Stand for extended periods during patient examinations.
• Maneuver radiologic equipment and accessories.
• Bend, stoop, and kneel to position patients and equipment.
• Maintain focus and attention to detail for prolonged periods.

Candidates for this position must possess:

• Certification from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• State License Requirement:
