• Support senior managers through partners in providing tax services, balancing time between compliance and planning, and interacting directly with clients.
• Focus on corporate returns and provision work; opportunities to work on flow-through entities (partnerships).
• Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, understanding their needs to provide tailored service.
• Communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals and clients; stay current with technical and best-practice knowledge.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of tax professionals; review work and ensure the team has the tools and opportunities to excel.
• Identify and respond to risks and opportunities to improve services and processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with tax, business, or financial planning experience.
• CPA certification or membership in The Bar (note: ensure correct professional eligibility for tax roles).
• Experience with ASC 740 tax provisions.
• Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills with the ability to challenge colleagues and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization.
• Commitment to continuous learning.
• Proficiency with tax software such as RIA, CCH Intelli Connect, One Source, BNA or Lexis Nexis.
• Willingness to travel as needed and to operate in a balanced hybrid environment; experience in mentoring junior colleagues is a plus.
