Job Description
The Iron Spire Group at Crowe provides a collection of boutique services to America’s most affluent families, their entities, and investment and estate planning vehicles. Our multidisciplinary team delivers tailored strategies that navigate both domestic and cross‑border tax challenges.
We are seeking a Tax Manager with deep expertise in estate, gift, and trust tax planning and compliance. This individual will play a key role in advising clients, managing sophisticated engagements, and supporting the continued growth and leadership of the Iron Spire Group.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Expertise:
Deliver high‑level tax consulting, compliance, and controversy support for complex estate, gift, and trust matters affecting ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients. - Engagement Leadership:
Manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment while maintaining a focus on exceptional client service and technical excellence. - Risk Management:
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risk issues related to estate, gift, and trust tax engagements. - Firm Standards:
Maintain full awareness and compliance with Crowe’s quality standards, methodologies, and policies. - Thought Leadership:
Contribute to the firm’s reputation through speaking engagements, authorship, and professional education efforts.
- Education & Credentials: CPA or JD required.
- Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in public accounting, law, or a family office environment. - Technical Proficiency:
Demonstrated expertise in estate, gift, and trust taxation, including complex and cross‑jurisdictional issues. - Client Relationship
Skills:
Proven ability to proactively identify client needs, resolve challenges, and build long‑term trusted relationships. - Collaboration:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a commitment to teamwork and mentorship.
