Handling tax in such a large, sophisticated organization takes more than just a technical understanding of current tax practices. As a Seasonal Real Estate Tax Senior Manager, we will look to you to apply your knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes to some very complex issues. Responsibilities

• Lead teams and work in a highly collaborative culture, where listening to and sharing information with colleagues is essential.

• Handle tax planning projects for a diverse client base and provide up-to-date tax advice clients can rely on.

• Apply knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes and devise strategic outcomes for complex issues.

• Develop clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve clients  tax activities.

• Build client relationships and demonstrate deep knowledge of the real estate, hospitality and construction industry.

• Supervise a motivated team of professionals, ensuring they have the skills and opportunities to reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• A bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.

• Seven to ten years  of real estate tax experience, within a professional services environment.

• Extensive knowledge in a broad range of real estate tax technical and transaction skills (e.g., partnership taxation, REITs taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring).

• Experience managing budgets, people and projects.

• Business development within the market.

• A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.

• Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.

• Ability to prioritize multiple complex projects and strong influencing skills.

• Willingness to travel as needed and to work in a balanced hybrid environment.

You ll also have

• CPA qualification or be a member of a state bar.

• The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr individual salaries within those ranges are determined through factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
