Job Summary

The VP, Product Pricing & Analytics—TM leads pricing strategy, analytics, and profitability optimization for Treasury Management Services, including commercial deposits and cash management products (ACH, wires, lockbox, RDC, online banking, fraud services, merchant, information reporting, positive pay, and APIs/connectivity). This leader owns the revenue and margin framework for TM, establishes pricing governance and deal discipline, and drives insights that improve portfolio performance, client value, and competitiveness.

The role partners closely with Product, Finance, Treasury Management, and Operations to align pricing with market dynamics, regulatory considerations, and the bank’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing Strategy & Framework:
    Develop and maintain pricing structures for TMS products, including list/tiered pricing, package bundles, volume tiers, discount matrices, and exception pricing rules.
  • Pricing Strategy:
    Set strategy for Earnings Credit Rate (ECR) programs, analysis fees, balance compensating requirements, and commercial deposit pricing (rate and non-rate).
  • Analytics, Profitability & Insights:
    Conduct competitive benchmarking of TMS fees/rates and market norms; monitor macro trends (payments, real-time rails, fraud costs, interchange/third-party costs).
  • Analytics, Dashboards & Reporting:
    Provide dashboards and scorecards for leadership—revenue, margin, ECR impacts, exception trends, and sales effectiveness.
  • Revenue Optimization & Growth:
    Partner with Finance and TM to forecast revenue impacts and track realized uplift from pricing changes.
  • Pricing Initiatives:
    Design targeted repricing programs (by segment, industry, product, and utilization) with proactive client communications.
  • Product & Portfolio:
    Develop bundled offers and “good–better–best” packages for SMB, mid-market, and corporate segments; optimize cross-sell into payments, fraud, and digital channels.
  • Pricing & Value Delivery:
    Identify “price-to-value” gaps and product enhancement opportunities that reduce cost-to-serve.
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance:
    Recommend pricing governance policies covering approvals, documentation, exception reasons, and renewal/term discipline.
  • Operations & Billing:
    Oversee billing accuracy (analysis statements, fee posting, ECR calculations) and exception remediation in partnership with Operations.
  • Controls & Audit:
    Maintain auditable controls and reporting for regulators and internal audit.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
    Collaborate with Product & Operations on pricing throughout product lifecycle (launch, commercialization, sun setting).
  • Strategic Partnership:
    Partner with Treasury to reflect rate environment, deposit beta assumptions, and FTP impacts in pricing decisions.
  • Enable TM with pricing playbooks, guardrails, ROI calculators, and deal structures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Business; MBA or quantitative master’s preferred.
  • 10+ years in banking/financial services with direct TM pricing experience and product profitability ownership.
  • Experience with FIS Horizon, FIS Global and XAA
  • Expertise in pricing models, commercial deposits, cash management, and payment operations economics.
  • Strong stakeholder leadership and executive communication; proven track record in pricing governance and change management.
