SEC and Technical Accounting Senior Manager

Opportunity to own reporting and technical accounting for a hyper-growth, publicly-traded technology company. This will report to a fantastic CAO with a strong Big 4 background that has a reputation as a great leader and mentor. It will interact regularly with the CFO.

• Shared ownership and responsibility for external reporting, including creating financial statements (full P&L and statements of cash flow)
• Contributing to the corporate consolidation, including analyzing data and preparing eliminating entries.
• Using Workiva and other reporting tools to automate consolidation and reporting where possible
• Support the Accounting organization with evaluating business activities to research technical accounting guidance, determine appropriate GAAP treatment, and prepare memorandums/ policies.
• Contribute to M&A activities, both in due diligence and integration
• Provide input and support to drive the annual and quarterly reporting process as well as internal financial reporting to the CAO and BOD.
• Prepare financial reporting disclosures including financial statements, footnote disclosures, and operating metrics for SEC filings and for other internal and external financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare various financial analyses.
• Develop and maintain excellent positive working relationship with the external auditors.
• Responsible for helping drive monthly financial close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

• 7-9 years minimum experience in accounting and reporting
• CPA or CPA candidate, Big 4 or other national firm experience
• Demonstrated ability to proactively create solutions
• Highly promo table--someone putting in the work now with an eye on growth
