Job Summary – Corporate Controller, Finance And Administration

Location:

San Jose, CA

• Lead all worldwide accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Own SEC reporting, including all required filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, etc.).
• Ensure SOX 404 compliance and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting.
• Serve as primary liaison with external auditors and advisors.
• Manage and develop the accounting team across general ledger, revenue, AR/AP, payroll, and technical accounting.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies within accounting.
• Oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606, including review of complex contracts with Sales, Legal, and Operations.
• Maintain and update revenue recognition policies and documentation.
• Oversee cost accounting for COGS, inventory, and manufacturing variances, partnering with Operations and Supply Chain.
• Manage accounts receivable, billing, credit policies, collections, and monitor customer credit risk.
• Oversee stock-based compensation and equity accounting, ensuring compliance with ASC 718 and accurate reporting.
• Research and implement technical accounting guidance for new or complex transactions.
• Maintain company accounting policies and procedures documentation.
• Partner with FP&A for forecasting, budgeting, and provide financial insight to executive leadership.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and support company growth in the semiconductor sector.
• Requirements:
  Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, CPA, 10+ years progressive accounting experience (including public company), strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC, SOX, and ASC 606; semiconductor or manufacturing industry background preferred.
