On-Demand:
Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T2281) s role is part of Target’s On-Demand team and offers scheduling flexibility with shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime app. You may choose shifts that fit your schedule, with commitments to respond to shift opportunities and to work when needed.

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those that are looking for a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app.

When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. You will be expected to engage actively by picking up and working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Flexibility can be granted in certain circumstances, but you need to respond to our attempts to contact you to confirm your interest in working shifts.

If you do not respond, employment may be terminated. If you do not work at least one shift within 5 months, your employment with Target may be administratively terminated. Your communication and ability to work when the business demands it are critical to success in this role.

Should you be offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule. After that, the myTime app is used to pick up desired shifts.

Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the check lanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Introduce guests to current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events.
• Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment; be familiar with fulfillment services and direct guests to enroll, activate, and use them.
• Demonstrate how to use Wallet and other Target App features.
• Process returns following register prompts, escalating to leaders as needed while following Target policies.
