Senior Field Application Engineer; San Jose

• The go-to person for customer's technical contacts.
• Engage in customer’s new project development by suggesting products and solutions. Provide necessary technical support in the whole design, validation and qualification process.
• Frequent customer visits for product promotion, solution discussion, training, on-site technical support and trouble-shooting etc. Out-of-town travel if necessary.
• Achieve design-win goal to grow the business.
• Proactive product promotion together with marketing and sales.
• Work with business units to explore new product ideas.

Requirements:

• Minimum BSc in Electrical Engineering – Major in power electronic is an advantage.
• > 3 years hands-on analog hardware design experience.
• Solid knowledge of power converter topologies, power switches and passive components.
• Familiar with high power multi-phase PWM controller, PMIC, smart power stage, point-of-load regulator, eFuse or hotswap controller.
• Knowledge with power architect in computer, industrial equipment, data center or AI factory is an advantage.
• Business oriented mindset.
• Good Communicator, Mandarin speaking is an advantage.
• Strong people and network skills.
• Willing to travel.
• Independent contributor but also a team player.
• Field Application Engineering experience is a plus but not essential.
