🚀
We’re hiring a Manufacturing Process Engineer in San Jose, CA to turn innovative designs into high-volume, production-ready electronics that set the standard for quality and efficiency.
As a Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineer – System Integration (SI), you’ll play a key role in bringing new products to life. You’ll support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs by developing tooling, processes, and documentation that enable efficient, scalable system assembly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Provide technical guidance for new products and processes, focused on system-level assembly 🧩
- Develop tooling, fixtures, process docs & work instructions for SI builds 📘
- Support prototype builds and prepare engineering documentation for production
- Configure and manage BOMs & routings, ensuring alignment with standards and procedures 🧾
- Implement ECO / DA changes and release manufacturing documents (MPIs, SOPs)
- Act as the engineering point of contact for customer-related technical issues 🤝
- Evaluate manufacturing costs and drive DFM improvements 💡
- Design and source assembly tooling & fixtures for prototype and production stages 🔧
- Define and set up assembly lines & processes for new product launches 🏭
- Support product transfers across global facilities 🌍
- Contribute to advanced technology & innovation initiatives 🚀
- B.S. in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering (M.S. or MBA a plus) 🎓
- 3+ years of engineering experience (electronics manufacturing preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and deep understanding of manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills 🗣️
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Familiarity with NPI processes & IPC standards
- Experience with AutoCAD or Solid Works 📐
- Knowledge of Agile & Valor DFM tools
- Mandarin or Vietnamese language skills 🌏
- Hands-on role with real product impact
