Salary Range

$105,000 to $138,000

THE PRODUCTION TEAM

The Production Team is responsible for overseeing Cupertino Electric’s Field workforce, ensuring that all projects are executed with the high standards of safety, productivity, scheduling, quality and cost control. ABOUT

THE ROLE

The Senior Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) schedules across a portfolio of projects using industry-standard tools such as Microsoft Projects and/or Primavera P6. This role serves as a key resource in aligning project execution with strategic schedule performance goals. The Senior Scheduler works closely with field leadership, project management teams, and corporate scheduling staff to ensure accurate and resource-loaded Critical Path Methodology (CPM) schedules are developed and maintained from project planning through close-out.

This position plays a critical role in schedule impact analysis, performance reporting, and continuous schedule improvement based on corporate standards.

  • Serve as the primary scheduling contact for assigned projects, collaborating with Field Supervision, Project Management, and other stakeholders to develop and manage project schedules.
  • Develop and maintain resource- and cost-loaded CPM schedules in Microsoft Projects and/or Primavera P6 per CEI standards.
  • Lead project lifecycle scheduling efforts including planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out phases.
  • Monitor schedule performance through earned value management (EVM) tools and provide analytics and reporting that track progress against baseline schedules.
  • Conduct schedule reviews, variance analysis, and impact assessments due to delays or changes in project scope.
  • Update project schedules weekly to reflect current progress and maintain baseline vs. as-built comparisons.
  • Generate CEI-standard schedule reports and dashboards that communicate KPIs, trends, and forecasted outcomes to project and corporate leadership.
  • Identify scheduling process deviations and provide recommendations for mitigation and improvement.
  • Participate in job walks, planning meetings, and internal scheduling reviews to ensure proactive management of project timelines.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for more junior scheduling staff; may provide guidance on best practices, tools, and processes.
