We are currently supporting a confidential search with a global electronics manufacturing leader for a Senior NPI / Process Engineer to join a high-impact engineering organization.
This role is ideal for a seasoned technical leader who thrives in PCB manufacturing, SMT, and electronic assembly
, and who enjoys driving New Product Introduction (NPI) from prototype through volume production while mentoring engineering teams and improving manufacturing performance.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for PCBA and electronic assembly processes
- Lead and mentor engineering teams across complex manufacturing programs
- Drive process optimization, Six Sigma / Lean initiatives, and DOEs
- Partner closely with customers, suppliers, Quality, and Manufacturing teams
- Own DFM, NPI execution, RCA/CA, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (EE, ME, IE, or related)
- 7+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing or process engineering
- Strong hands‑on knowledge of PCBA, SMT, and assembly processes
- Onsite role (no remote or hybrid)
- Proven leadership, project management, and communication skills
- HDI & micro‑via
- Lead‑free soldering
- BGA rework
- PCBA failure analysis
- Tooling/fixtures
- Conformal coating
- Epoxy & corner bonding
- Automated/manual soldering processes
