• Provide timely and accurate cost estimates of labor and materials for new construction, tenant improvement, or maintenance projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Collaborate with estimators, project managers, engineers, detailers, and vendors.
• Communicate project expectations through written and verbal channels.
• Use HVAC estimating software (Highland Construction, Quote Soft, Trimble Auto Bid) to perform project takeoffs.
• Ensure accuracy of all estimating workbook components, including labor hours, rates, cost allocations, and material transportation.
• Verify compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Attend job walks, bid reviews, and meetings as needed.

• 2–5 years field experience in HVAC or HVAC & process systems.
• Experience estimating medium to large construction projects.
• Knowledge of SMACNA standards.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Trimble Auto Bid, Highlands Construction Software, or Quote Soft.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project skills.
• Basic knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• College degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
