The PositionAs a Sales Engineer at ZXONIC, you won’t just be selling products — you’ll be helping customers understand, implement, and succeed. This role blends technical depth with business acumen: you’ll guide clients through the noise and vibration challenges they face, and show them how ZXONIC tools can turn complexity into clarity.
You'll be the voice of ZXONIC in the field — engaging with engineers, safety professionals, researchers, and decision-makers across industries. You’ll not only open doors and close deals, but also shape how our products evolve by feeding insights back to our R&D and marketing teams.
Be ready to travel frequently to attend trade shows, exhibitions, customer sites, and training events.
Primary Responsibilities- Represent ZXONIC at technical exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows related to acoustics, vibration, and occupational health.
- Deliver live product demonstrations, both on-site and remotely, to highlight the value of our instruments and software.
- Engage directly with engineers, safety teams, and environmental professionals to translate their measurement needs into practical solutions using ZXONIC equipment.
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including training, Q&A, and application guidance.
- Support the sales cycle by preparing quotes, product proposals, and customized configurations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, marketing, and production) to improve product-market fit and customer experience.
- Contribute to regional sales growth by identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and supporting distributors.
Sales Commission is provided.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Acoustics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong technical communication skills and confidence in customer-facing environments.
- Ability and willingness to travel for trade shows, client visits, and on-site demonstrations.
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, San Jose, CA (primary U.S. office).
- 2+ years of industry experience in technical sales, measurement systems, or acoustic instrumentation.
- Prior experience working with sensors, DAQ systems, or measurement equipment.
- Previous background in customer success, field support, or sales engineering is a plus.
Base Salary: $65,000 – $130,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
