, supporting cutting-edge communication, cloud, and industrial technology products. We are currently seeking a Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineer with a focus on System Integration Assembly (SI) to support new product introduction (NPI) programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and bringing complex products from prototype to full-scale production.
Responsibilities- New Product Introduction (NPI) Support:
Provide technical guidance and evaluation for new product and process development, with an emphasis on system-level assembly - New Product Introduction (NPI) Support:
Support prototype builds and transition products into mass production - Manufacturing Processes & Documentation:
Develop tooling, fixtures, and detailed assembly process documentation for SI assemblies - Manufacturing Processes & Documentation:
Create and maintain manufacturing instructions, MPIs, and SOPs - Manufacturing Processes & Documentation:
Configure and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings aligned with product structures and standards - Manufacturing Processes & Documentation:
Implement engineering change orders (ECO/DA) and customer-driven updates - Customer &
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Serve as the primary engineering contact for customer-related technical issues - Customer &
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams to ensure successful launches - Cost, Tooling & Line Setup:
Evaluate manufacturing costs and provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) recommendations - Cost, Tooling & Line Setup:
Design and procure tooling and fixtures during prototype and ramp phases - Cost, Tooling & Line Setup:
Define and establish assembly lines and manufacturing processes for new products - Global Manufacturing Support:
Contribute to the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies
- Bachelorās degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Masterās degree or MBA is a plus
- 3+ years of engineering experience, preferably within electronic or high-volume manufacturing environments
- Experience supporting NPI and system-level assembly processes
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and system integration
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Solid Works
- Familiarity with NPI workflows, IPC standards, and manufacturing documentation
- Knowledge of Agile and Valor DFM is preferred
- Mandarin or Vietnamese language skills are a plus
