In this position, the engineer will conduct signal integrity (SI) measurements at the Sanmina PCB corporate SI lab for bare printed circuit boards (PCBs) and assembled printed circuit boards (PCBAs). The engineer may also support Sanmina internal projects and customer projects, including test board evaluation, test planning and execution, SI measurements, data analysis review, and report writing.

• Conduct SI measurements, analyze data, and write reports for product inspection prior to shipment.
• Review products using SI measurements and thermal analysis. Assess potential product improvements for manufacturing sites.
• Conduct failure analysis to identify potential causes and root causes, then plan and execute detailed test plans.
• Support material or PCB review projects with senior lab engineers and the supervisor.
• Maintain lab equipment and tools.

• BS or higher degree in EE or a related field.
• Experience with at least two of the following measurement instruments: vector network analyzer (VNA, ENA, PNA), time‑domain reflectometer (TDR), oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer.
• Experience in S‑parameters measurement above 20 GHz.
• PCB/PCBA measurement experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of signal integrity concepts such as reflections, attenuation, losses, BER, ISI, jitter, crosstalk, EMI, EMC.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills.
• Meets ITAR requirements.

$98,000.00 – $ (actual base pay determined at offer stage based on experience, education, certifications, and skills).
