We are looking for a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) responsible for Lattice customers in either San Jose, CA or Hillsboro, OR. The FAE will give product presentations, assist customers through design, conduct onsite visits, maintain relationships, develop new opportunities, and provide product demonstrations. The role requires strong technical expertise and interpersonal skills.

• Give product presentations to customers describing how Lattice products provide the optimum solution.
• Assist customers during product design, including onsite visits to review designs, examine problems, and provide suggestions on optimal use of Lattice products.
• Manage relationships by establishing connections with key individuals at accounts and identifying new opportunities.
• Give product demonstrations and execute benchmarks to show product capabilities and ease of use.
• Understand competitors’ strengths and weaknesses relative to technical strategy.
• Communicate strategies to field and factory personnel to obtain required support and coordination.
• Assist customers throughout the development cycle to ensure successful completion of the product.
• Provide timely feedback to factory on product and strategy issues.
• Travel periodically within the Bay Area and surrounding region as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in FPGA and/or ASIC design, including VHDL, Verilog, System Verilog or other HDL tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a customer support or customer‑facing role.

Base pay ranges from $180,000 to $225,000 per year. Additional compensation includes an incentive plan, bonus, and new‑hire equity for a competitive total compensation package.
