Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all‑electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. Responsibilities- Lead automation efforts for multiple integrated test environments and hardware‑in‑the‑loop platforms
- Define test strategies and automation roadmaps aligned with program milestones
- Develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks
- Develop automated test sequences covering flight controls, actuation, electric engine and high voltage systems
- Integrate automated sequences into real‑time simulation environment
- Establish regression testing, automated reporting, and data analysis pipelines
- Integrate CI/CD concepts into testing
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Aerospace engineering or related field
- 7+ years of experience in system‑level test/ automation for complex embedded or aerospace systems
- Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, or LabVIEW
- Demonstrated experience automating HIL labs for safety‑critical systems
- Hands‑on experience with simulation and test platforms (NI Veristand, dSpace)
- Understanding of FAA certification (ARP
4754A, DO‑178C, DO‑254) - Knowledge of model‑based design and verification workflows
We are targeting a base pay between $140,000 - $180,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
