RF Module Engineer - Summer/Fall Co‑Op

Job DescriptionIncubate and develop advanced RF front‑end modules under the guidance of seasoned engineers. The internship focuses on learning state‑of‑the‑art design practices, collaborating with specialists across the organization, and potentially opening the door to future full‑time employment at Skyworks.
Duration: June/July to December 2026
Responsibilities- Design/develop RF/Microwave multi‑chip modules with experienced engineers
- Evaluate and optimize prototypes of RF/Microwave multi‑chip modules
- Run simulations using design tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, etc.
- Participate in and present at design reviews
- Perform lab testing using standard RF test equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve design or technical issues
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) MS or PhD program
- Commitment to work onsite for a 6‑month co‑op
- Strong desire to learn, grow, and make an impact
- Strong career interest in RF/microwave circuits and engineering
- Willingness to share knowledge and collaborate with others
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS highly preferred
- Hands‑on experience in a lab using a network analyzer and other RF instruments highly preferred
- Knowledge of transmission‑line theory and circuit design is a plus
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00‑$47.50 per hour and for a Non‑Engineering intern USD $22.50‑$42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different U.S. work locations.
