Mixed signal IC Staff design engineer

Location:

Milpitas, CA

• Design, simulate and verify analog and digital circuit for ultra low jitter PLL, PFD Link, digital filter, Fraction N divider, FOD and high‑performance output buffer using deep submicron CMOS process technology.
• Understand design specifications and product architecture, create and perform top level simulations with appropriate modelling.
• Supervise physical layout work.
• Work with test engineering and product engineering for product characterization and post silicon verification, provide occasional customer support.
• Create and maintain documentation for related projects.

• MSEE/PhD with 3+ years of related industrial experience or BSEE with 5+ years of experience.
• Solid knowledge of high performance CMOS mixed signal circuit design.
• Experience with standard output buffer of LVPECL, LVDS, HCSL, CMOS design.
• Experience with Fraction Output Divider is a plus.
• Hands‑on in Cadence tool set, Synopsys tool set, Spectre & Hspice simulation tool, Matlab, and layout tools.
• Ability to work as a team and across other groups.
