Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Senior R&D Technician who is detail‑oriented, hands‑on, and passionate about supporting innovative application development. In this role, you’ll assist lead engineers with sample preparation, analytical testing, die bonding (manual and automated), troubleshooting process issues, and maintaining strict process control and documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Assist lead engineers in applications development: prepare samples, perform analytical tests, record data and observations, and prepare summaries of experiments.
  • Perform die bonding application manually and automatically.
  • Troubleshoot basic process issues and escalated appropriately.
  • Perform parameter optimization and failure analysis.
  • Handle microscopic components; use microscopes, tweezers, and vacuum tools.
  • Maintain process documentation, basic troubleshooting, and ensure repeatability and yield.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1+ year of industry experience in a related field.
  • Technical certification or degree in electrical, chemical, or a related engineering field is preferred.
  • Experience in materials testing, metals handling, QC background, or lab work.
  • Basic computer skills:
    Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; ability to log process data.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis software such as Minitab is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork, ability to follow instructions, and effective communication skills.
  • Hands‑on, good time‑management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail; focus on process control, documentation, and quality maintenance.
  • Able to stand, reach, use fine tools, occasionally lift small weights, or handle assemblies.
