YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:The BIM Modeler III provides modeling efforts for project delivery and standards. This role leads the production team as Model Manager, responsible for all BIM project functions including drawings, model quality, and coordination files. The role includes producing and supervising modeling and documentation, and training staff.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Capable of successfully performing all tasks of a BIM Modeler II
- Collaborate with the Family Development Team for revised standards or project needs
- Lead and supervise the modeling and documentation of projects
- Provide effective verbal and written direction to support staff
- Manage all aspects of assigned projects including project models, resource needs, progress, and impacts on scope/schedule/budget
- Create and maintain Electrical Revit models using backgrounds from other trades following REI standards
- Collaborate with a diverse team across departments and disciplines
- Supervise the layout and input of marked-up drawings into Revit per REI standards
- Comply with REI confidentiality and non-disclosure requirements; protect Proprietary or Company Intellectual Property
- Other duties as assigned within the business unit
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computerized Drafting, Architectural Design or related discipline; minimum 1 year in Revit
- Minimum 5 years' total experience with knowledge of electrical symbols and drafting conventions
- Combination of education, training and relevant experience
- Effective performance management
- Advanced knowledge of Revit including families, views, sheets, schedules, and related tasks
- Ability to translate direction into constructible design documents
- Understanding of REI BIM processes, procedures, and standards
- Fluency in reading 2D plans (one-lines, lighting, panel, and feeder schedules)
- Type, proofread, and spell check work without supervision
- Understanding of Revit work sharing
- Experience setting up Revit models, leading model teams, annotating, scheduling, workload assignment and meeting deadlines
- Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities
- Work under pressure with a positive attitude
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and a collaborative team player
- Professional interaction with all levels of staff, vendors, and clients
- General indoor work environment with potential for varying conditions, lighting, and air conditioning
- Noise level typically low to medium; can be loud on a job site
- Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs

Pay Range
$43.90-$58.00 Hourly
