We are looking for a Dean, BSN Program to join our team.

This position will be responsible for the site supervision, development, planning, coordination, organization, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing program activities.

Plans, develops, manages, updates, and evaluates all aspects of the program, including but not limited to:

• RN program budget
• Faculty and staff
• Clinical site liaison
• Curriculum development and implementation
• Program compliance with Board rules and regulations; site visits
• Student advocate
• Program policies and procedures
• Faculty and student handbooks
• Supplies and equipment to meet program objectives
• Prepares data and written materials for state and Board requirements: reports, proposals, self‑studies, surveys, and site visits
• Maintains student and faculty records throughout academic status, coordinating with HR for documentation of qualifications
• Identifies and obtains outside resources for the nursing program
• Develops and implements program policies and procedures, organizes and serves on program committees
• Oversees admission process and orientation
• Writes articulation agreements with nearby colleges for course equivalencies for transfer
• Serves as liaison between community and the college, marketing the program
• Obtains and maintains educational partnerships and contracts with clinical sites
• Performs and/or delegates clinical site evaluations, assessing risk, safety, staffing, and curriculum alignment
• Coordinates clinical rotation details with faculty and site representatives, including approvals and evaluations
• Tracks and reports student, faculty, and clinical site evaluations; shares summary with leadership and advisory committee
• Maintains minutes of inter‑agency meetings
• Participates in nursing faculty recruitment, hiring, orientation, and monthly meetings
• Assists in conflict resolution for faculty and students
• Helps maintain professional association memberships and participates in activities
• Collaborates with other college entities (counseling, registration, financial aid) as a representative of nursing interests
• Provides advising support and degree planning assistance to pre‑enrollment students
• Ensures student readiness for skills labs and clinical facilities prior to rotations
• Handles student appeals and grievances per policy
• Plays role in recruitment and admission of qualified nursing students
• Provides academic support and ensures graduation requirements and licensing exam readiness
• Conducts Nursing Advisory Committee meetings
• Monitors student performance: NCLEX licensing and job placement rates

• Must hold a current RN license in the state where the campus is located
• A master’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university that includes coursework in nursing, education, or administration
• Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative position
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience in pre‑ or post‑licensure nursing programs
• At least two years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care and/or equivalent experience as determined by the Board
• Demonstrated leadership skills
